The Inaugural Concert of the
13th Powsin International Piano Festival
took place on
Sunday 11th May 2008.
The ‘Forget-me-not’ concert was performed by
Anna Maria Stańczyk.
A large crowd gathered to enjoy this inaugural concert in the Powsin Botanical Gardens. The audience was so large that people were sitting on the grass in what must be one of the most attractive settings to enjoy piano music brought to you by international concert artists.
Don’t forget you can listen to piano concerts every Sunday through until the beginning of September. On some Sundays the concerts are performed by emerging Polish talent drawn from the music academies. Details can be found on the pianist page.
